Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
